The shutoff is usually under the sink or at the nearest angle stop. If you cannot find it, the house main valve stops the rest of the damage. Electricity and standing water do not mix — skip the outlet if the floor is wet.
Photograph the line, the cabinet base, and how far water traveled into adjacent rooms. Those photos help an adjuster and a restorer more than a verbal “it was a lot.”
